Michael obtained his Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Ryerson University (now Toronto Metropolitan University), majoring in finance and minoring in law.  He then attended Osgoode Hall Law School, where he received his Juris Doctor.  During his time at Osgoode, Michael developed a keen interest in criminal law, and that has been his sole area of practice since being called to the bar in 2018. 

Michael has appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice and Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and has extensive experience representing clients charged with a broad range of offences, from simple assault to murder.  Michael recognizes the many difficulties that may arise from being arrested and charged with a criminal offence, and has an unwavering commitment to ensuring that his clients’ rights are protected throughout every stage of their case.
