Michael Rozik is an associate lawyer at Gavel Law Group, where he focuses on criminal defence. He completed his articling term at a Toronto criminal defence firm, where he gained hands-on experience with trials, bail hearings, and preliminary inquiries, and went on to practise as an associate handling criminal, family, civil, and provincial offences matters. That range of work gave him a practical and client-focused approach to advocacy, which he now brings to every file at Gavel Law Group, from first appearance through to trial or sentencing.
Michael earned his LLB from the University of Liverpool and completed the NCA process before being called to the Ontario Bar in 2025, establishing a solid foundation in both Canadian and international law. He also speaks Arabic, allowing him to connect with and assist a wider range of clients. His community work supporting the homeless reflects his commitment to service and advocacy beyond the courtroom. Guided by attention to detail and a passion for the law, Michael works diligently to understand each client's situation and is dedicated to achieving effective and timely results for those he represents.
